Shiny orbs,
Looking down upon us,
Scattered like glitter in space,
Each and every one of them different,
With only one similarity,
All shine brightly,
Some shine more than others,
Big, bold and gleaming,
From below,
Everyone sees those stars,
As they are most noticeable,
And easy to recognise,
Some shine dimly,
Unable to see,
Ignored and unlovable,
Always placed behind others,
Invisible,
But those stars have a choice,
A silent but big voice,
They can be shining,
Striving for similarity,
Even so,
You can aim for different goals,
And if you do,
A shooting star will display in the night sky,
Beaming and bright,
Painting the endless dark void,
With endless possibility
For all to see.
