What to do:

1.Cut out the eight collage pieces from pages 66 and 67 Teen Breathe Issue 39 (Make sure you cut out the numbered purple tab as part of each piece)

2. On your piece of card measure and mark a rectangle that is 22 cm x 11 cm and another rectangle that is 11 cm x 7 cm. Cut these out.

3. On your smaller rectangle of card draw lines 2 cm, 4 cm, and 7.5 cm from the short edge. Fold along these lines.

4.Overlap the first 2 cm tab with the last tab and glue to create a triangular shape. Set aside.

5. On your larger rectangle of card measure 8 cm from the short edge and draw a line. Fold and unfold along this line.

6. Taking the collage piece labeled 1, fold forwards along the dotted line.

7. Line the fold of collage piece 1 with the fold you have made on the larger piece of card and glue these pieces together.

8. Fold this piece into an L shape (along the drawn line/purple tab fold) and help prop this up by glueing one of the long sides of your triangular piece of card to the back at the base.

9. Fold the purple tab of collage piece 2 backwards and glue this tab over the purple tab of piece 1.

10. Fold the purple tab of piece 3 backwards and glue this tab down with the edge lining up with the crease of the fold of piece 2.

11. Repeat step 9 with each collage piece in order until you have built all the layers of your 3D cover art.
