Warm, gooey and delightfully nutty, these chocolate and hazelnut cookies are a comforting way to pause, bake and savour a mindful moment – one bite at a time.

- Heat the oven to 160°C fan forced.
- Start by whisking the eggs, butter, and honey in a medium-sized bowl until they’re well combined.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and gently fold.
- Add hazelnuts and chocolate (if using) and gently fold into the mixture.
- Line an oven tray with baking paper and spoon on 12 portions of the mixture, about a tablespoon each, evenly spaced apart.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before eating.
