Hazelnut energy bars

These no-bake hazelnut bars are packed with feel-good ingredients – perfect for a quick energy boost after school or a delicious snack on the go.

MAKES: 6-8 bars

Ingredients

Method

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the chopped hazelnuts, oats, and raisins. (If you’re using dark chocolate, add that now, too.)
  2. Add the honey and peanut butter.
  3. Give it a good mix so the wet ingredients are evenly dispersed.
  4. Line a tin with baking paper, add the mixture and firmly press it in.
  5. These bars don’t need any cooking. The stickiness of the honey and peanut butter holds them together when chilled. Just put in the fridge for at least two hours or until set. Cut into rectangular slices and enjoy.
